Question Taq adalah declarative sentence ( kalimat pernyataan) yang diikuti oleh pertanyaan kecil yang diletakkan di akhir kalimat.
Question Taq sering digunakan dalam bahasa Inggris lisan ketika Anda ingin meminta konfirmasi seseorang setuju atau tidak setuju
Salah satu fungsi umum adalah untuk memulai percakapan atau membantu membuat percakapan tetap berlangsung
Jika pernyataan positif, tag harus negatif. Jika pernyataan negatif, tag harus positif.
Kata setelah koma umumnya diartikan :

Bila kalimat pernyataannya mengandung Auxiliary Verb ( Kata Kerja Bantu) seperti :
1. Will/Would (akan) , 2. Can/Could ( dapat), 3. May/might ( boleh) , 4. Shall /Should ( akan) 5. Is/Was , Are /Were 6. Has /have/had + V3 ( telah....)

a.Bila kalimatnya positif (+) maka taq nya negarif (-) Tono will eat sate , won’t he ? Tono akan makan sate , bukan ? Atau Tono will eat sate , won’t he ? Tono akan makan sate , bukan -- Someone has cleaned the room , have not they ? Seseorang telah membersihkan kamar , bukan ? -- I can write a letter, can’t I ? Saya bisa menulis sepucuk surat , bukan ?
b.Bila kalimatnya positif (+) maka taq nya negatif (-)
Tono will not eat sate , will he ? Tono tidak akan makan sate , bukan ? -- Someone has not cleaned the room , have they ? Seseorang telah tidak membersihkan kamar , bukan ?
