Elliptical Sentence Elliptical Sentence adalah penghilangan bagian tertentu dari suatu kalimat akibat penggabungan dengan kalimat lain tanpa menyebabkan perubahan arti kalimat Intinya ada peyederhanaan dua kalimat tanpa mengubah arti karena Subjectnya melakukan atau tidak kegiatan yang sama He can play chess Dia bisa bermain catur --- I can play chess Saya bisa bermain catur Digabung menjadi : He can play chess and I can too Dia bisa bermain catur dan saya juga bisa He can play chess and so can I Dia bisa bermain catur dan saya juga bisa
